Important Dates

Planning ahead is an important part of supporting your student’s university journey. Whether it’s booking travel, sending care packages, or simply understanding when major transitions occur, having access to key academic dates can make a big difference.

Each year, Acadia University publishes an official list of important academic dates, including the start and end of terms, course add/drop deadlines, holidays, exam periods, and more. These dates are approved by Senate and apply to all undergraduate and graduate students unless otherwise noted.

This document is maintained by the Office of the Registrar and is the most reliable source for Acadia’s academic schedule. Please note that some program-specific dates may have their own timelines – questions about these can be directed to specific program contacts.
